New Book Projects!

• Two books for little cat-lovers! As I write this, I am currently busy illustrating two new board books featuring cats! :) Z IS FOR ZOOMIES and 10 SLEEPY CATS will be published in 2027 by Ten Speed Young Readers.
• Good Job, Dog! (working title) is a new book project; a collaboration with  Cat Warren, bestselling author of  What The Dog Knows.  Cat will be writing and I will be illustrating. Publisher: The Experiment. 

October Events

• Cat Tree: Time to Climb is a new mini board-game designed by Nathan Long for which I did some illustrations. Cat Tree will be offered as part of the upgraded Clowder Token Collection (a set of cute cat tokens for board gaming) produced by Sunrise Tornado, the publisher who brought you FORK board game which I also illustrated. The Kickstarter for Clowder + Cat Tree launches in October.  Back the Kickstarter so that these get made!  
• 10/3: Landscapes of Belonging: Chinese American Stories Across Our National Parks is an art exhibition that I will be contributing to, at Blossom Market Hall, San Gabriel. RSVP and more info here.

Get The Flock Out! I created this poster for DeFlockMPK (follow them here on instagram). This illustration (no words, only the title) is now also available as a FREE DOWNLOAD on my website. I am looking for translators who can translate these words to Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Please reach out if you can help!

Chinese Brush Painting Classes. I have been attending Chinese Brush Painting classes once a week in Alhambra, taught by Henry Li of Blue Heron Arts. This is something I am doing for myself, for fun, to learn how to think and feel before I put down a brushstroke... to learn different styles of using a brush. I love these classes and will be back in October to paint pandas! I am still a beginner; just giving you a peek at some of the better ones. :)
