Frequently Asked Questions about using my images, custom art, and shipping.
General Questions
1. Can I share your art on my website/blog/social network?
Yes! With credits and no edits! Please share the images in their original format, as they are, without modifying or cropping anything. You can find free shareable downloads on this page.
If you have ordered any custom art from me, please tag me on your social media photos! :)
2. Can I buy the high-resolution digital file of the custom drawing you did of my pet?
I don’t sell or send out high-resolution digital files of my custom pet art when you order a print. However, I sell printed-to-order items like t-shirts, totes, mugs etc. so let me know what you need and I can arrange to have these printed and shipped to you!
3. Can I use your images (eg, dog breed art) for my own project? I will need to extract the dogs/cats from their poster backgrounds. Can you send me high-resolution files?
My designs are not clip art or stock images. They are part of my own brand.
If you are not an official licensee of these designs, you do not have permission to use or modify them for your own project. Creating “derivative works” with my images is copyright infringement.
4. Could we use one of your existing designs as our logo?
It's not a good idea for two different brands to use the same images to represent themselves! Get in touch, and I would be happy to create new and unique illustrations for you that are not identical copies of art that I have already created for myself or for previous clients.
5. How can I license the rights to specific designs or license new artwork for my brand or product?
Please tell me more about your organization and products line. I don’t yet have a catalog of licensable art but for your reference, here are some of my previous and current licensing partners and products.
6. Can I use your designs for free if I am not making money from them?
My Digital Downloads are free to use with credits and no edits!
With everything else you see on this website, which are also copyrighted to me, I rely on royalties earned through licensing and publishing contracts to pay my bills and survive. They are not free to use and repurpose.
7. Can you draw my dog/cat/other animal?
Yes! I take custom pet print orders. So far, my custom pet prints have included dogs, cats, guinea pigs, goats, pigs, horses, birds, turtles, a snake, and an axolotl.

8. What are your rates for infographics or illustrations?
I quote on a project to project basis and I will need detailed information before I can provide an estimate or agree to work on a project. Please email me to discuss! I look forward to hearing about your project.
9. Will you illustrate my book?
If your book has a publisher, they may reach out to my agent, lilly@fullcircleliterary.com.
If your book does not have a publisher, I will need to look at your manuscript and hear your ideas before I can decide.
10. Can you make a pin of my dog, or change the colors of a pin in your shop to look like my dog?
I don't take custom orders for pins and am unable to change what my pins look like, as they have already been designed and manufactured to look as they do! Sorry!
11. Can I request a product in your shop? (e.g., dog breed pin or print)
I am open to suggestions and always take note of requests received.
12. We are a retailer. Do you offer wholesale discounts for your products and/or books?
PRODUCTS : My dog pins and a few other items are sold in the Faire marketplace at https://faire.com/direct/doggiedrawings. If you are located outside the USA and your country is not covered by Faire, please email me for an order form.
BOOKS: Wholesale ordering information can be found on the pages for each of my books. Doggie Language is available from Hachette Book Group. Both Kitty Language and Dogs of the World are available from Penguin Random House.
13. I am a professional translator. Can I translate your poster/book to my native language?
Free Digital Downloads: Please contact me directly if your desired poster has not already been translated into your language. If the poster you are interested in is not listed on this page, I cannot authorize translation; it is the property of my client.
Books: Foreign translation rights for any of my books are handled by my publisher (and publishers in other countries), not by me! Sorry, I cannot authorize translations.
Shipping and Returns
When will I receive my order?
I ship within 3 business days from 91770, USA. You will receive tracking information by email with every order.
Printed-to-order items and custom products usually take up to 5 business days to process or create prior to shipping.
My item arrived damaged!
I am sorry! Please email me. If the package and item is damaged, please send photos of the damage.
A part of my order is missing or incorrect.
I am sorry! I make mistakes. Let me know what is missing and I will address this ASAP.
What is your returns/exchanges policy?
Items need to be returned within 2 weeks of receipt - in perfect condition - to qualify for a refund. I am sorry I am unable to accept returns for clothing items or printed-to-order items.
