Dogs of the World is the book I started writing and illustrating immediately after working on Kitty Language. It also happens to be the longest and most intense illustration project I have ever worked on in my life! This 288-page book consists of over 700 illustrations.
Dogs of the World has been a dream project for many years. I had always wanted to see all my dog designs in a book and it was both thrilling and daunting when Ten Speed Press greenlit the idea, as I knew how much work was required to research, draw, and write something about 400+ dog breeds. In the process of doing all this, I also found myself travelling down rabbit holes to answer questions like, Where do dog breeds come from?, What makes a breed a breed? and Why do some countries have more breeds than others?
I cannot wait for you to see this book.
