I am a Hong Kong Mahjong player but I like learning different Mahjong variants!
Recently we started learning Riichi (Japanese Mahjong). In Riichi, you need to have at least one yaku (pattern of tiles) in your hand to qualify for a win. There are yaku lists and scoring charts available to download from the internet but the best way for me to learn something is to write it all out and organize my own 'cheat sheet' - which is what I've done here. I hope this is helpful for you too!
Big thank you to Brian, riichi scholar, for checking, advising, and sending me an easier-to-follow scoring chart.
PRINTING NOTES:
- Print on letter-size paper. Please set the printing to borderless so that the image goes right to the edges of the paper.
- I have included a guide to folding. Zine template by Wuthipol.designs
