NO KINGS Protest Signs

On June 14th, I joined over 10 million people across the country to protest against the Trump administration and ICE, the gang of thugs terrorizing my neighborhood, and illegally kidnapping random individuals, citizens included.  Senator Padilla of California had just been assaulted and handcuffed under Kristi Noem's orders, and two democrat state representatives had just been politically assassinated. 

We personally know someone who has been arrested by ICE. We know of businesses that are suffering, and families in fear. I am an immigrant myself, and we live in a neighborhood of immigrants.  

If you are reading this, live outside LA or CA and are following mainstream news media, you may have seen riots and violence in the streets instead of the truth. There have been NO RIOTS in LA. LA is not in chaos. These are peaceful, joyous protests by communities in solidarity, demanding justice. The violence you may have seen on TV has been instigated by law enforcement using rubber bullets and tear gas against civilians. Militarized violence, and a president who wants to be a dictator is the kind of shit we are protesting against. 

Sharing here some signs we made at home for the protests that we have been attending. Please keep in mind that we were using (shitty) paintbrushes, tiny tubes of gouache paint (aargh I am out of yellow paint!) and old POSCA markers. These weren't meant to be masterpieces lol.
