Meet Lili Chin

Lili Chin (she/her)  is an award-winning author and illustrator, best known for her animal-related art. Since 2008, she has been providing a catalog of art products for sale and creating expressive illustrations for animal lovers, educators, and businesses.

Organizations that have used her art include Cattledog Publishing, Fear Free Pets, the RSPCA, Wallis Annenberg Petspace, American Animal Hospital Association, and International Cat Care. Her designs have also been licensed for home furnishings, calendars, and puzzles.

 

Lili's first two books - Doggie Language and Kitty Language - have been translated to multiple languages around the world.

 

Lili was born in Malaysia and lived in Australia for twenty years before moving to  Los Angeles where she currently lives with a writer-husband and two adorable rescued cats - Mambo and Shimmy.  When she is not creating art, she enjoys swimming, reading or watching whodunits, listening to podcasts, and playing board games.

Lili's  Dogs of the World: A Gallery of Pups from Purebreds to Mutts  

will be published by Penguin Random House on April 1st, 2025.
