This year’s annual Boston Buddies’ Boston Tea Party will take place on October 22nd, in Temecula, CA. I am donating two prints to the Silent Auction.
“Boogie On Mellotron” (Signed)
8.5 x 11” print

“Boogie On Ukelele” (Signed)

And if these are not incentive enough for you to contribute to the rescue of sick and homeless Boston Terriers, check out this incredibly generous donation to the Silent Auction by Stitchy Witchy Designs, maker of “Retro Inspired Handbags and Boston Terrier Originals”:

You are looking at a one-of-a-kind handmade tote/purse made with “Boogie On Ukelele” fabric. There is also an interior pocket and cute little pouch with matching fabric. This is a very rare and collectible Boston Terrier purse that you will not see anywhere else!

A few months ago, I donated a Gift Certificate to the Green Mountain Pug Rescue silent auction and Chloe’s mom Debbie (who has five pugs) was the winner. Debbie blogs about her pugs and sells handmade doggie apparel at http://www.etsy.com/shop/Pugpossessed
Today I sent donations to these rescue organizations:
TOTAL DONATION for April - Aug 2010: $460
A big thank you to everyone who has ordered portraits of their pets!!!
As you know, I donate 20% from every Doggie Drawing commission. So, when you place your order do let me know if there is a specific rescue that you would like me to donate to.
In other news, my illustration “How Not To Greet A Dog” is in the current (Fall) issue of Modern Dog Magazine. :) www.moderndogmagazine.com
All my dog training related drawings are listed HERE.

For the period of Jan-March 2010, I have just donated a total of $365 to
…and last but not least, to Boston Brigade Rescue for Eddie the 3 year old boston terrier. It’s another shockingly sad story. Eddie was used as bait in pitbull fights, and is suffering from horrible injuries and ruptured eyes.
I have just sent a donation of $380 to Boston Buddies for Jack, a little boston terrier who needs surgery for his luxating patellas.
This is a percentage of commissions received in late December 2009 and January 2010. (I will also be sending donations to a few other rescues)
Jack’s surgery costs $2000. If you can help, please do!

This is a fundraiser illustration of BARKLEY, whose journal you can read HERE.
