Firstly, a new calendar for 2011: Boogie On Scooters!

I am very excited about this calendar - it looks amazing and would make a very special and unique gift for the doggie-lover and/or scooter-lover. I chose scooters from around the world with designs that appeal to me personally. I think they are pretty cool. The Annual Boston Tea Party, a fundraiser event organized by Boston Buddies Rescue — and this year in conjunction with Boston Brigade Rescue — is always a hoot. Hundreds of Boston Terriers! Yes, hundreds!!!

I will never forget my first BT Party two years ago. A chubby boston walked up to me and pee-ed on my leg. And then Boogie, who was leashed to a plastic chair, took off around the park with the chair flying behind him.

I will be there this Saturday and I would love to meet you and your dogs especially if you plan on ordering a drawing sometime in the near future (hint hint, it’s almost Christmas gift-giving time). Please come and say hello!

Boogie with the big pink tongue is my dog; Butch and Emma are Christa’s dogs.

And yes, little Miss Emma has to wear a diaper because she is incontinent after her horrible past life in a puppy mill that damaged her uterus and girl parts. (This was before she was rescued by Boston Buddies and adopted by Christa)

I did these drawings for fun, just because I know and love these pups. However I have also decided to donate one print each of BOOGIE and BUTCH to the Boston Tea Party Silent Auction on September 12th. These are 8.5 x 11, printed on canvas paper and signed. A set of these Boogie postcards will also be up for auction.

Thank you for all your wonderful support! Yes, I am still drawing and you can keep track of my work right here on this blog, or on my flickr. Here is a donations update for the past two months (June-July 2009). As promised, I am continuing to donate 25% of commissions to rescue groups.
