When I read about Bandit the boston terrier this morning, I was really moved.
Via Bandit’s website
As some of you may know, Bandit has had a lot of health issues during the past 6 months, starting with an eye infection that, in turn, resulted in Bandit having to have his right eye removed. Since then, he has still been a trooper, appearing in support of different organizations at fund raisers and being there for families and children. Most recently he brought smiles to the faces of kids and families while riding his little Harley in the 62nd annual Mother Goose Parade here in San Diego.
But Bandit really has not been well. During the past 6 months, he has had numerous seizures, not to mention pneumonia. Yesterday, 12-9-2008, I took Bandit to a Neurologist. Bandit is in desperate need of an MRI and other tests to find out the underlying causes of Bandit abnormal, neurological behavior and seizures. The cost is in the thousands for tests and treatment. I do not have that, and it is not fair to Bandit, having him going through all the pain of these seizures, and not being able to do anything about it. I need to do something to help.
That is why Bandit and I are calling out to every single person who visits this website for help. I am asking everyone to help me give this little Biker Dog the medical care he needs.
My ex-foster dog, Rocky was blind, and also suffered from seizures and had to have expensive MRI scans. I feel so much for Bandit and his human, Mark. This morning I made a $50 donation to Mark and Bandit. This donation comes from your Doggie Drawing commissions.
At the end of December, I will send in more donations to BostonBuddies and French Bulldog Village.
Please help Bandit, and thank you for your continued support!!!
Who’s next for a drawing of their dogs?
